We went to Discovery Cove. This was our first trip there and it was sooo much fun! We got to swim with the dolphins which was a huge treat for my animal loving daughter as you can see:
I loved snorkeling and swimming with all kinds of fish and stingrays. It was so much fun!
So, I can now say that I got a head start on my summer goals. My goals are:
1. having fun with my kids - I feel like they are a little neglected during the school year.
2. read for fun - yep, just need to lose myself in a good novel
3. plan for next year - you didn't think I'd get through summer not doing ANYTHING school related, did you? We're starting with common core next year, so I've got some planning to do!
So how about you? What are your summer plans?
1 week from today I will be in Jamaica!! So excited!! I will also be working on oodles of pinterest projects. I bet your daughter loved swimming with the dolphins! :)

A Cupcake for the Teacher
Hmm...where to begin? Writing (working on a devotional book), planning for common core (we're all in next year too), enjoying my time at home with the kids, and of course, floating in my pool! :-)
